Robert D. Sears (Lt Col, CAP, USAF Aux.), born  January 13, 1943, is a writer, teacher, mentor, and lifelong seeker whose journey has been shaped by service, curiosity, and a deep interest in the meaning and purpose of life. His wide-ranging path has included aviation, financial planning, public speaking, and decades of leadership and mentorship through the Civil Air Patrol.

In retirement, Robert has devoted much of his energy to writing and sharing spiritual insights, drawing especially from his long study of A Course in Miracles™. Through his books, essays, and weekly ACIM Gather presentations, he explores themes of consciousness, inner growth, leadership, and spiritual awakening.

He and his wife, Cherie, also share a love of nature and conservation, including their work raising and releasing Monarch butterflies.
