Nothing is more important for the unfoldment of our Spiritual light and potential than the elimination of the old. We must learn to let go of old limiting thoughts, desires and belief systems and make room for all the wonderful new things we have desired, prayed and worked for. What we need to do is take the initiative to cast away old, limiting thoughts
It is not possible to advance on the Spiritual path without going through a process of purification. The word purification comes from the Latin and means „to make pure.“ („purus“ = pure; + root of „facere“ = to make) It literally means „free from extraneous matter.“
It is extremely important to understand that everything in life happens for a reason and there are no accidents. Everything in God’s infinite universe is governed by laws. If something happens in life, be it positive or negative as you interpret it, it has happened to teach a Spiritual lesson.
The conscious mind is the reasoning mind, whereas the subconscious mind is the non-reasoning mind. The superconscious mind is the all-knowing mind. Another metaphor is that the conscious mind is the captain of the ship, computer programmer, decision-maker, gardener. If the conscious mind is the captain, then the subconscious mind is the shipmate below
The purpose of life is evolution. To evolve, by definition, means to become less matter and more Spirit. On a practical level, we become less matter and more Spirit by being committed to daily improvements. The easiest and quickest way you can improve yourself is to watch yourself very closely each day.
Everyone has dharma in life as they say in Eastern tradition. Your dharma is your Spiritual path. The problem or the lesson is that life is filled with temptations and life is filled with false gods, idol worship, alternative lovers, and life is filled with detours that take you off your path. In the twinkling of an eye, this can happen.
My Beloved Readers, this is a most interesting lesson. The first question that comes up in people’s minds upon reading the title of this lesson is, how is this possible for there are people in my life who are definitely not supportive of me. They are attacking, angry, judgmental, divisive, they hold grudges, they are into their negative egos, they are victims, run by their emotional body, disturbed, they even have betrayed my trust.
Every time we think of ourselves as being weak, we literally make ourselves weak. Why? Because we cannot think a thought without setting up an analogous vibration in our bodies. Whenever I, the Soul inhabiting my bodies – physical, emotional, mental – think a thought, have an emotion, say a word, I set up a vibration in my bodies that emanates from the very center of my Soul outwards via the medium of my bodies. Remember, matter is the vehicle of the manifestation of the Soul.
Each of us is 100% responsible for our subjective reality, i.e. our private mental and emotional space, our own universe. This includes our interpretations of events, based on our beliefs and memories, attachments and fears, and our corresponding emotional reactions. The corollary is that we are certainly not at all responsible for another person’s subjective reality, i.e. their thoughts and feelings.
We live in a world of energies and forces. One of the reasons why people are so tired and why they suffer burnouts is because we continually waste our forces. Uncontrolled thinking wastes our forces.
How come if they are doing these Spiritual practices are they not getting the results they seek!? I will attempt to explain.
Let us begin with affirmations and prayers. It must be understood, my friends, that every thought you think, feeling you feel, word you speak, and action you take is an affirmation.
Our current evolutionary goal is to become Soul conscious in our brain awareness, thereby giving birth to a whole new kingdom on Earth. If we look around in our world, we share this planet with the mineral kingdom, the vegetable or plant kingdom, with the animal kingdom and with other humans (human kingdom). What differentiates the various kingdoms from one another is their development of consciousness.
We all have dreams and desires that stir our heart. Did you ever ask yourself why you have the dreams, aspirations and desires that you have? Where they come from? What their purpose is? In Latin, desire means „of the Father.“ In other words, your desires are literally of Spirit/Source! Your lofty desires are your Creator’s desires. Your desire for abundance, fulfilling relationships, happiness, joy and a meaningful career and service work is literally the force of the Divine within
Self-mastery involves mastery of our speech. Is there a way to say what needs to be said without hurting one another? Yes, there is! And the only way to do that is to identify with the other person, to tune into the inner life of the other person, to feel as the other person feels, and then communicate from that point of identification.
Buddha once said that the only constant in life is change. Why? Change is the only constant in life because our current evolutionary goal is to transform our humanity into Divinity. This transformation process is an ongoing process. It continually goes on. And this is why it is a constant in life. Or said another way: There can be no progress in life without change and renewal. Yet progress we must. Why? Because we have not reached the end goal of our evolution. The word progress comes from „pro“ meaning „forward“ and „gradus“ meaning „step.“
“Love is the highest value in life – It should not be reduced to stupid rituals. And love and freedom go together – you cannot choose one and leave the other. A man who knows freedom is full of love, and a man who knows love is always willing to give freedom. If you cannot give freedom to the person you love, to whom can you give freedom? Giving freedom is nothing but trusting. Freedom is an expression of love.” “To be in love gives you only a glimpse of grace, but to become love is to become grace itself. Start by being in love and end in becoming love.”
It is important that you recognize what are your motivations for entering the spiritual Path. If your motivations are pure and uncontaminated with egoic agendas, you are setting up the best conditions for authentic and lasting spiritual progress.
Our evolutionary goal is to become Soul-aware in the here and now, in our bodies. In order to reach this goal, it is not just enough to evolve and expand our consciousness, we also need to evolve our bodies, the medium through which our consciousness expresses itself. What exactly do we require?
We require: 1) a strong, healthy physical body bursting with energy and vitality, 2) a purified and refined emotional nature full of love and joy, 3) a highly developed mind full of light
The Spiritual path sometimes feels very slow and methodical in terms of sensing the Spiritual growth made. Spiritual growth is a very subtle thing. There are actually three levels of Spiritual growth. There is the Spiritual level, consciousness or psychological level, and physical/Earthly level. The Spiritual level of growth deals with building Light Quotient, Light Bodies, initiations, anchoring Chakras and this is a very slow intricate process. Most people are not even aware when they take major initiations let alone the path to get there.
Our current evolutionary goal is to step out of our humanity and into our Divinity. Now, in order to reach this lofty goal, part of what we have to do is build higher bodies and develop higher senses. The idea of building higher bodies and developing higher finer senses may sound like wild fantasy on first hearing, however, evolution being a fact in nature, does it not make sense that as we expand our consciousness and reach up into higher frequencies, as per the law of magnetic attraction and resonance, higher matter becomes accessible to us and out of that higher finer matter we then build higher finer bodies serving as suitable mediums of contact on these higher, finer planes?
What are some of the changes in character that go along with spiritual awakening? We see a shift in the expression of spiritual emotions: patience, forgiveness, humility; gratitude; awe, and wonder at the beauty and majesty of creation; inner quietness and peace
Magnetism is not only a force known in the physical world. Magnetism is a universal force. It operates on all planes.
This is why the images we picture in mind, concentrate on and ensoul with persistent desire magnetically attract those things to us.
Now, the same happens with our mind when we fill it with magnetic thoughts of joy, love, gratitude

Life is a mirror. The people in our life mirror ourselves. If we want the outer world to change, we have to turn within. The work is ever within ourselves. If we look at the bathroom mirror in the morning and we don’t like what we see, it will not occur to us to change the reflection by trying to change the mirror, will it? The only way to change the reflection in the mirror is to change ourselves.

Purusa is the form of consciousness in which you will behold your attentional principle.

This last statement and point cannot be emphasized enough. Personal power is the key that makes the theory and ideals work. Personal power, or will power, is the first golden key.
